The commission has published a new forecast for the eu economy, with a more upbeat scenario for consumers. The winter interim forecast’s projected growth for 2023 of 0.8% in the eu and 0.9% in the euro area is respectively 0.5 and 0.6 pps higher than in the autumn forecast.
